MOUNTAINEERING

With its varied climbing terrain and unique seacliffs, Acadia is an ideal location for the first-time climber or the experienced veteran. While many climbing schools and guide services in the United States offer courses in multiple locations, some to all corners of the globe, Atlantic Climbing School has deliberately chosen to focus exclusively on Acadia National Park. This unique area has been our home for over twenty years and we welcome the opportunity to share it with others. We know the area so well, in May 2002 we published the first comprehensive rock climbing guidebook to Acadia National Park in twenty-five years. Atlantic Climbing School is also a primary sponsor and organizer of the annual Acadia Climbing Festival held each Memorial Day Weekend.
