May 25th to May 30th

Join in the celebration amid the beauty of Mount Desert Island. Explore Warblers and Wildflowers through numerous events and venues. Early morning Warbler Walks, Peregrine Watches and ranger-led programs in Acadia National Park provide numerous birdwatching and learning possibilities. Guided tours of famous Mount Desert Island gardens satisfy garden lovers of all ages. An opening night social, films and lectures end busy days. Legacy of the Arts Festival
June 18th to June 25th

The Legacy of the Arts is a community celebration of the arts which begins this year with a Father's Day concert on the village green. Celebrate with us the wealth of artistic resources that Bar Harbor offers. Whether you visit historic buildings, take in exhibits at our museums and galleries, or stroll through the annual art show, keep an eye out for discoveries of your own. You'll see original creations in the traditional galleries as well as in restaurants, lodging establishments, offices and non-traditional places when you might least expect them.
